Copying vs Moving Files in SharePoint Online

A quick blog post, showing how to COPY files in SharePoint from one location to another, and how to MOVE files from one location to another.

Copying Files

(Remember, COPY will take a copy of the latest version of each file from the source location, leaving the old copies behind. The new copies are created with today's date - which often isn't ideal!)

Moving Files

(Remember, MOVE will move each file from the source location, leaving NO old copies behind. The items keep the date they were originally created and modified - which is preferred!)
